The Discipleship Specialist will lead, develop, and support strategies and initiatives that align with the YLKA’s mission. This position will equip teams, coordinate and build sustainable service.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Design and implement for various target groups (urban, rural, youth, and children)
Collaborate with cluster coordinator teams and other specialist to integrate activities, including community development programs.
Conduct holistic mapping and research to identify opportunities and challenges in various regions.
Evaluate and adapt methods to ensure cultural relevance and long-term sustainability.
Training & Equipping:
Train staff, volunteers, and local partners in service methods that are in line with the organisations strategies
Develop training materials, toolkits, and workshops.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning:
Track the impact of service activities through reports, testimonies, and mentoring.
Establish indicators to track the effectiveness of service initiatives.
Collect and analyse data, testimonials, and field reports to inform strategy.
Present monthly and quarterly impact updates to leadership and donors.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cross culture program
Degree in Education, Social and Development Science or a related field (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect with diverse audiences.
Cross-cultural experience and awareness. Cross-cultural experience may include working across different cultural backgrounds within Indonesia.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are preferred.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally, sometimes to remote or challenging locations.
